About the Role We are hiring for a Full-Time Senior Motion Graphics Artist who achieves projects to a high standard, demonstrating design and animation creativity, quality and consistency. You will work within the Workday Creative Services Team and report directly to the Creative Director of Motion Graphics. More about the role below. Work with our creative team to brainstorm concepts, ideate, design, and storyboard based on scripts, stakeholder/CD direction, and dedicated research Produce strong conceptual and expressive animations and videos that are engaging and reflect Workday’s culture, values, and brand experience Work closely with the creative directors, graphic designers, editors, and producers to meet the business objectives of projects and give value to the organization. Handle technical aspects of project workflow and deliverables Have a positive personality; receptive to creative direction and design feedback About You You are motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working with a small, but mighty, studio team. Working with the creative directors, art directors, producers, and a team of artists in creating promotional video elements for various marketing campaigns, initiatives, conferences, and events. Projects can range from shorter demo videos, social promos, and trade show assets, to longer in-depth product overviews and whole event- show packages. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker, visual storyteller, and thorough animator who can bring ideas to life in fun and inspiring ways. All the while maintaining quality control, cohesion of message, and the Workday brand Ability to follow creative direction and actively participate on any given project or team to which assigned Give and receive constructive feedback with the in-house team and vendors Meet deadlines, prioritize work, and keep projects moving forward Deliver final project files and production ready assets Maintain knowledge of post-production tools Occasional travel for high profile events (approx. 1-2 times per year.) Basic Qualifications 6+ years of proven experience working expertly as a 2D animator, with skills in two or more subject areas: Graphic Design, Brand Design, Motion Design, Illustration, or Creative Technology 6+ years of experience working in motion graphics and video editing with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere. Experience in brand building and visual identity Sophisticated knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Experience with color, composition, and typography Working knowledge of 2D character rigging, AE expressions, and AE Mogrts Familiarity with Slack, Frame io, Figma, Gdrive, google sheets, google docs, and Box. Comfortable sharing and communicating ideas with team and stakeholders Other Qualifications Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills Experience in design for conferences and live events Working knowledge of Cinema 4D and/or Camtasia Ability to multitask several tasks with minimal supervision, work independently and bounce seamlessly from one task to another. All the while sharing your progress, problems and pitfalls with the team alongside sharing your favorite foods. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
