We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Prosthetist Orthotist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing patients with the highest quality of prosthetic and orthotic care, ensuring their mobility, comfort, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their prosthetic and orthotic needs.
Design, fabricate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Work closely with patients to educate them on the use, care, and maintenance of their devices.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Stay current with advancements in prosthetic and orthotic technologies and techniques.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Provide follow-up care and adjustments to ensure optimal device performance and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from an accredited program.
Current certification and licensure as a Prosthetist Orthotist (CPO) by the Department of Health ( DOH) Abudhabi, Dubai health authority ( DHA) Or Ministry of health ( MOH) UAE.
Minimum of 2 years of UAE experience in the field.
Strong technical skills in the design and fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compassionate and patient-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
