Your Team: You will be part of Analytics Products Domain within CDAO. The team is responsible to provide analytics tools and platforms to the Group. As a Systems Engineer within Analytics Domain, your key accountabilities include: Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for enhancement and development Assist with preparation and documentation of deployment and configuration scripts for development, test and production environments Contribute to the technical design of system enhancements Follow release and change processes in the compilation and distribution of software builds and releases to development and test environments, as well as system updates into production Software development and quality control of software developed by geographically disperse team Troubleshoot complex deployment and environment issues. Work within in a team environment and provide assistance in the management and leadership of your team and complete associated tasks. We are interested in hearing from people who have: Software engineering or equivalent IT degree Strong experience in designing and building Docker containers Strong experience packaging enterprise applications into Docker containers. Strong experience in CI/CD tools (e.g Git/GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus, Jenkins, etc.) Experience in automating repetitive tasks using Ansible, Python, shell scripting, etc. Experience in software/infrastructure platform development, management and operations Experience (desirable) in vendor application deployment and management Experience (good to have) in AWS (EKS/ECS, CloudFormation) Basic understanding of DevOps/SRE Best Practices: Logging, Monitoring, Security Basic understanding of database concepts, SQL If you're already part of the Commonwealth Bank Group (including Bankwest, x15ventures), you'll need to apply through Sidekick to submit a valid application.
