A Snapshot
As the Operations Analyst, reporting directly to Head of Operations Advancement, you will have the ability to impact our business overall through application of your technical and business analysis skillset, making your mark in a number of ways:

Perform analysis of operational data to help the business understand the performance across team functions, processes and assets.
Undertake analysis of new and existing markets to ensure our operations teams are suitably resourced and funded.
Identify reporting automation opportunities and initiate or implement automation projects.

Your Day to Day

Identifying operational requirements and opportunities for improvement.
Gathering information by observing workflows, reading company reports, conducting employee interviews, etc.
Apply appropriate methods to analyse relevant operations information and data.
Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations.
Developing new processes and procedures to enhance operations.
Assist in the implementation of new ways of working
Determining the effectiveness of new processes.
Perform analysis of operational data to help the business understand the performance across team functions, processes and assets.
Create and manage operations reporting dashboards.
Undertake analysis of new and existing markets to ensure our operations teams are suitably resourced and funded
Support asset management planning, and operations compliance activities.
Make use of suitable tools and platforms such as CMMS/IWMS, DCS/BMS, SCADA, Security Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
Support interfaces with other business units.
Other duties as required.

Requirements

Experience in conducting operational reporting and analysis for asset intensive operations.
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Science, Data Science or equivalent.
Knowledge of building services and systems – mechanical, electrical, fire, controls, etc.
Analyse complex problems, identify root causes, develop and implement effective solutions
Data aggregation and processing skills, including Excel, SQL, VBA or equivalent.
Data visualisation and presentation skills: Power BI or equivalent.
Knowledge of facilities management.
Ideally an understanding of data centre operations and processes
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working within dispersed teams and organisational change
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical team members
Have a sense of urgency commensurate with managing a priority/severity incident in a 24x7 environment
Ability to travel from time to time.
