Role Profile The Data Reporting Services/Global Fees team supports Regulatory Reporting and Member Reporting/Global Fees in LSEG Post Trade Technology division. Regulatory Reporting includes reporting to the CFTC, Reg-Reporting UnaVista (EMIR), BOE, CME, HKTR, SFTR, DTCC and JFSA. These reports include transaction and position data across all Clearing Services. Member Reporting covers Banking member reports, which is managed through the Business Objects infrastructure and distributed to the Portal team for screening prior to publishing the reports to the Member Portal. Global Fees is responsible to calculate fees and produce invoices, files and reports to Accounting team, Finance and Members. This role is to support the respective production service, pre-production and member test functions. Investigate issues, develop fixes, support new releases and perform general maintenance and administration. To provide new functionality through enhancements, service improvements and performance tuning. Out of hours support overnight and across weekends and European Bank Holidays is frequently needed. Strong technical background and good communication skills are required for working with the business and other application support teams during troubleshooting and investigations. They must be able to work under pressure to meet multiple SLAs, which are defined for all applications and processes. Must be self-motivating with the ability to prioritise workload. Key Responsibilities Support of the Data Reporting Services/Global Fees production services consisting of multiple applications i.e. Regulatory Reporting, Member Reporting Global Fees in multiple environments – Production, Pre-Production and Member Test. Monitor and provide daily status updates to management regarding the status of processes and applications Resolve/Support - Incidents, Problems and Requests: Monitor ServiceNow queues Proactively analyse problems and decide on suitable resolutions Apply resolutions following the LCH Change Management procedure Reporting status to relevant business and IT teams Record progress of incident resolution in ServiceNow Follow documented incident management procedures and escalate to the senior management team where necessary Supervise and liaise with the offshore and onshore support teams on all BAU issues Changes, bug fixes and enhancements to LCH products Work on solutions for longer term fixes for application bugs and small functionality enhancement requests Implement application fixes Update GitHub/Bitbucket with source code changes Update relevant documentation with changes Co-ordinate the Release process for new releases Work to the ITIL standard following LCH policies Maintain working relationship with business teams, design/development/testing teams and other application and infrastructure support teams Out of hours support Be available for overnight support of production services to ensure successful completion of processing Respond to overnight calls and deal with issues Support weekend releases and maintenance work Participate in Production out of hours activities such as Disaster Recovery exercises, fire drills (business risk scenarios), etc. Assist in project related work Carry out requirements as defined by project team Quality check potential changes Review development release packages prior to production deployment PERSON SPECIFICATION Education: Degree educated, preferably in a technical discipline Skills/Experience/Qualifications (required): Internship experience of working in an IT support or development team Sound analytical and problem-solving skills Sound technical background in the core DB technologies Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to IT and business teams and to senior management as well as onshore/offshore support team Strong level of attention to details Skills/Experience/Qualifications (advantageous): Experience in an investment banking environment Familiarity with financial products and financial terms Qualified with the ITIL v4 Foundation course level Key Technical Skills (Preferred): Experience with Informatica (PowerCenter) client tools, mappings, workflow design, Informatica debug modes Candidates with strong scripting skills (Unix/bash, Windows/PowerShell, Python) Data warehousing fundamentals (Oracle Warehouse - ETL) Must have good SQL (Oracle) SAP Business Objects R4.x Administration UNIX and Windows operating systems administration skills Key Technical Skills (advantageous): SAP Business Objects 4.x - Webi/Universe design and deployment Crystal reports creation and modification Product development lifecycle experience Control-M experience is desirable but not essential Perl / Python Java/Spring boot Sybase DB/SQL Knowledge of IBM MQ AWS/Azure Cloud technology knowledge and experience LSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
