Job Description:We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Bedford View. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a fast-paced environment within brokers or insurance companies, preferably with exposure to Sanlam, Santam, Discovery, or Old Mutual. The candidate must be available immediately and possess a strong character and personality to thrive in our dynamic workplace. Responsibilities:Provide administrative support to the Financial Advisor.Manage and maintain the advisor's calendar, scheduling appointments, and meetings.Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports.Handle incoming calls and inquiries, redirecting them as necessary.Maintain electronic and paper filing systems, ensuring accuracy and organization.Assist in the preparation of client presentations and proposals.Process paperwork and documentation related to insurance claimsLiaise with clients, insurance providers, and other stakeholders as needed.Perform general office duties such as photocopying, scanning, and faxing.Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection regulations. Requirements:Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or similar role, preferably within brokers or insurance companies.Familiarity with insurance claim processes and documentationStrong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.Availability to work from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
