Together we can build state-of-the-art data solutions that power seamless experiences for millions of customers Do work that matters As a Senior Payments Support Engineer, you will bring in a perfect blend of skillset, including hands-on experience and be responsible for shaping the evolution of this team. The Payment Services Utility team is a newly established area of the ES operating model that manages the end to end technology and operations for payments within the CBA group. This includes all real time, domestic, international and merchant payment services. You will be responsible for providing technical direction to the service delivery team. You must be technical oriented person with comprehensive experience in payments functional and technical landscape. You are responsible for delivering insights to support decision making and service operational integrity. We are seeking people who are: Ready to provide payment domain expertise and technical expertise to support the PSU service operations for the applications in scope predominantly focussing on payments transfer, processing, integration, repair and transformation processes. Provide timely and expert advice on emerging trends and issues affecting Service Delivery and Support. Develop strategies to allow Application Support to manage resultant problems. Passionate about managing small enhancements, troubleshooting break fix activities, problem management and stability analysis of the service. Proactively able to identify the service improvement requirement and support delivery small enhancements. We are also interested in hearing from people who: Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing Provide 3rd line Application Support on complex internally and externally developed applications Develop, co-ordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem management activities across all support teams. Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems Understand business issues and challenges, and forward plans and ensure the IT service integrity. Create and maintain knowledge base articles to document defects, common issues and processes, thus supporting internal and external clients to self-service Tech skills: We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We do not expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these, or a willing to learn these skillsets (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team! Payment Subject Matter Expertise in low value domestic payment, International Payments and Swift technologies.
