Position –Assistant Manager FPA CoE Location – Bangalore Job Profile Summary Support the Infrastructure and Cloud finance team in the role of Finance analyst. To support key month end processes and provide information, analysis, and insight to business managers to help them maximise business performance. The successful candidate should have proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment and collaborate across finance teams to provide robust, valuable insight. Position Summary Infrastructure Cloud Technology is responsible for delivering Service Excellence while maintaining technical infrastructure including its data centre’s, cloud, networks and desktop computing environment. The finance team is responsible for business partnering with the Technology Leadership team and providing all financial information to support the team in meeting its objectives and drive informed business decision-making. LSEG Technology brings together our product development, operations, digital and business technology, cyber security, architecture and technology program management groups. LSEG Technology consists of approx. 5,000 employees who are located across the world. Responsibilities / Accountabilities: Finance Business Partner for the Cloud Services Tower - Responsible for providing financial support and analysis to the Corporate Technology business, owning the respective budgets (£100M ExBITDA, £13M Capital), and understanding key movements at month end. Finance Business Partner for the Technology Business Management Tower - Responsible for providing financial support and analysis to Technology Business Management Tower, owning the respective budgets, but also providing analyses that help identify and justify proposed operational improvements with IC. Business Case ownership – Partner with Tech business partners, programme managers, and Proposition to provide financial input and management for multiple Business Cases: creating new Cases, reporting and forecasting spending, identifying Risks and Ops to Plan, and brainstorming ways to deliver maximum value for minimal investment. Financial management reporting - Conduct value-add reporting on the business cost base and associated one-time costs. Assist reporting strategy and input into KPIs to be consumed by the Tech Finance team to present to ELT-1 – ELT-2. Drive process improvement - Enhance tracking, recognition and communication of IC and CT Budget, Actuals, Forecast and other Management reporting. Ad hoc analyses – Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions; examples could include items such as analysis of proposed commercial deals, cost savings opportunities, and inhouse v outsource decisions. Key Relationships: Head of Cloud Services Head of Technology Business Management Finance Business Partners Technology, Customer Proposition, Sourcing, and Accounting finance teams Finance Centre of Excellence Technical/Professional Skills Competencies: In depth Accounting knowledge (ideally Professionally Qualified or Qualified by experience) Inquisitive mindset – The want to understand reasoning behind KPIs.
