Project Controller Location: Belfast (hybrid working) Are you looking to develop a career in Project Controls? Then look no further… Our Opportunity Thales UK has a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join our Project Management Office (PMO) as Project Controller, as part of the centre of excellence for Integrated Airspace Protection Systems. This is a permanent position based in Belfast but with the flexibility to blend time between the office and home. This opportunity would suit individuals either already in the development stages of their career in Project Controls or Project Management (or similar), or individuals with transferable skills and aspirations to pursue a career in Project Controls. On a day to day basis you’ll be involved in: Liaising with appropriate stakeholders to create and maintain integrated master schedules for projects Producing project reports and facilitating reviews in accordance with project timescales Ensuring governance, deployment reporting of Risk Opportunity Management Liaising with the project team to collect and monitor the use of ‘lessons learned’ as part of a continuous improvement culture Ensuring Thales mandated tools are deployed and used appropriately and that a robust change control process is implemented for projects Ideally, you’ll: Have an awareness of a Project Management and/or Bid environment with experience of supporting the delivery of successful projects in support of Project Management Teams Have an awareness of planning and scheduling - previous exposure of Primavera or other planning tools - desirable Possess great communication and organisational skills and have experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Have proven experience of building strong relationships with customers, partners, suppliers and internal stakeholders together with having excellent organisational, managerial and team working skills. Be able to demonstrate strong negotiation, presentation and report writing skills In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
