The role of Test Engineer is to contribute to the testing of the CitrusAd systems. You will work as a core member of the test team and assist with the design and implementation of test solutions. You will be required to work closely with the product team, developers, iteration managers, and designers to ensure appropriate test coverage is conducted and the systems are fit for purpose. Test Engineers are encouraged to work in all aspects of testing, including manual, automated and performance testing. The role will spend most of their time assigned to work within a squad and perform both manual and automated testing.Assist the Senior Test Engineers with the planning, design and documentation of solutions for both backendautomation and performance testing.Conduct and document proof of concepts on new testing practices and testing tools.Analyse requirements for new or existing features to design and write manual test cases that prove the feature is fit for purpose.Create and maintain automated system test scripts using the existing automation solutions.In collaboration with the Senior Test Engineers and Iteration Managers, ensure timely status and metrics reporting to project management and senior management.About you:Extended experience in software testingExperience in Cucumber/Selenium with Java.Experience in writing code to create automated tests.Ability to write SQL statements.Experienced in creating automated tests for web-based applications.Extended knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.Experienced both in working independently and collaborating with others.Ability to work in an agile team and participate in agile ceremonies.Experienced in analysing requirements to create test cases.Our Perks and Benefits:Here at CitrusAd we are all about our people.
