Job Title: Finance Business Partner, Europe Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Working location: Peterborough (Hybrid) Role Purpose This role is part of the Europe Retail Finance team, combining Liquidity Management to ensure the most efficient use of working capital; and Decision Support, assisting with Financial Planning Analysis, with dual lines of reporting into FPA and Accounting Reporting. Key Responsibilities: Ownership of Europe short term cash forecast, inventory/stock management, liquidity management, including fortnightly submissions to group finance, along with supporting commentary. Preparation of budget forecast balance sheet cash flows in collaboration with FPA team Measure performance against budget/forecast balance sheet cash flows, providing commentary analysis of any material variances Improve process controls for both liquidity stock management to ensure the business has access to accurate detailed MI to efficiently manage working capital Track monitor *** spend to ensure cash flows are forecast and project spends are recorded accurately Support in the preparation of business cases for new initiatives and contract renewals Contribute to process controls improvement Support with month end closing process for FPA Key Skills and Experience should include: Qualified accountant Confident in presenting to both internal and external stakeholders Strong analytical and modelling skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Advanced Excel skills/ MIBI (SAP BO or equivalent) Experience in managing and balancing the demands of different stakeholders Used to working and delivering to tight timescales Demonstrable evidence of taking the initiative and working independently to drive a number of different projects Driven to continue development within the Finance community Used to dealing with large data sets and managing reporting according Ability to challenge constructively when required to do so Ability to develop effective relationships across functional areas Why Travelex?
