[What the role is] You will be part of the team overseeing the implementation and maintenance of Air Navigation Services (ANS) information systems. These information systems support Air Traffic Control (ATC) and fault management operation to perform data logging and disseminating of essential safety related information. You will be involved in designing of the system architecture, formulating the technical specifications and coordinating with the various vendors to implement the ANS information systems. Aside from operational systems, you will also be involved in the design, implementation and operation of experimental platforms. Such experimental platforms allow the stakeholders to test out various operational concepts and formulate the system requirements, which will eventually be incorporated into the operational information systems. [What you will be working on] Key responsibilities include: • Designing the system architecture and formulating the technical specifications for the ANS information systems. These systems are being deployed on-site and on cloud platforms. • Coordinate with users to gather the operational requirements and ensure that the systems are implemented in accordance with these requirements • Conduct market surveys of potential systems available in the market • Seek approval from the relevant authorities to adopt the proposed system design and technical specifications • Formulate the system implementation plans • Identify and mitigating risks which may impact the successful delivery of the systems • Procurement of the systems and evaluate on the proposed solutions • Implement and deploy the information systems with the vendors (including testing and commissioning activities). You will also require to ensure that the information systems are implemented in accordance with the international standards (such as ICAO and Eurocae), as well as applicable governance regulations (such as cyber security requirements). These systems are software intensive, complex and requires high availability. You will need to work closely with multiple stakeholders (both internal and external), including other government agencies, system suppliers, maintenance operators, operation users, IT consultants etc. to ensure the system(s) meets the required standards and requirements. Stakeholders management is critical and you are expected to coordinate and liaise with the respective stakeholders. [What we are looking for] • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in implementing and deploying information centric systems. • Proficient in system architecture design and system implementation for both on-premises and cloud setups • Familiar with the various cloud products and services (such as AWS and Azure • Well *** in performing testing and commissioning activities, to ensure that the desired technical specifications are met • Experience in networking and cybersecurity compliance • Good understanding of air traffic control related systems will be a plus point • Experience in networking and cybersecurity compliance • Good communication and written skills, good attention to details. • Organised and good self-disciplined to meet timeline • May be required to travel for overseas meeting Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience.
