The Team You’ll Work With
The newly created Senior Zuora Systems Analyst role will report to and work closely with the Finance Systems Senior Manager as well as partner with stakeholders across the Company in finance, engineering, and business systems.
The Problems You’ll Solve
The Senior Zuora Systems Analyst role will proactively improve and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Carta’s enterprise finance systems by demonstrating strong influence and communication skills to collaborate internally with the Finance, AR, and IT teams. The position will act as an advisor to the organization on system efficiency and effectiveness. The position will be the primary internal system admin and support contact for Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue (Revpro), along with other finance systems.
Other responsibilities include:

Provide internal, ongoing system/technical support to Finance users, including training with a focus on superior customer service
Gather requirements, design, implement, and maintain configurations and customizations of Zuora applications to meet the evolving needs of the finance team
Support onboarding of additional business units and acquired subsidiaries onto Zuora Billing and related quote-to-cash systems
Partner with internal users and stakeholders, assisting with data analysis, business process mapping, reporting needs, and continuous improvement initiatives
Maintain proper system access for user roles, ensuring compliance with segregation of duties
Monitor end-user usage of business systems and track performance
Provide frontline support with regards to all aspects of business-facing applications and troubleshooting to diagnose, isolate, and resolve issues
Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, system integrity, and security
Responsible for the change management and release process of Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue(Revpro), and other finance applications, as and when required
Provide quality and timely communication regarding system status
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of system functionality, customization, and integration
Support integrations with other enterprise apps like Zuora CPQ, accounting systems, payment systems, etc.

About You
A successful candidate for this position will demonstrate the following:

5+ years of experience with Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue administration, configuration, including 3rd party integrations in complex environments
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (MIS, IT business/computer science, and/or Accounting)
Experience supporting Zuora Billing modules: Customers, Product Catalog, Subscriptions, Billing Invoicing, Payments, and Taxes
Experience working in Zuora Billing administration: User access, HTML/PDF templates, Custom fields, Notifications/email templates, Workflows, and Reports
Experience working in Zuora sandbox including deployment across multiple tenants
Experience working in Zuora APIs
Experience working in Zuora Revpro administration: User access, Data interface/sync, Custom attributes, File upload/templates, Data Augmentation, Period Open/Close, Revenue Contracts, and Reports
Understanding of Revpro schema and Data Query usage
Knowledge of SQL
A strong understanding of the quote-to-cash (Q2C) business process.
Project management, including requirements gathering, system implementation, and system integration experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and remain professional and flexible in high-pressure situations
Familiarity with revenue recognition and financial reporting concepts
Familiarity with the hire-to-retire process and system access management
Zuora Billing/Revenue Certification is a plus

Carta’s compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans. Our minimum cash compensation (salary + commission if applicable) range for this role is below:

$134,300 - $158,000 in San Francisco, California
$107,440 - $126,400 in Sandy, Utah
