Achieve Community Chest’s philanthropy and engagement goals, including mobilisation of donations and resources for the social service sector. Achieve fund-raising outcomes through development of fundraising and partnership strategies, relationship building, collaboration and event management with public agencies and statutory boards, community groups, business organisations and internal NCSS stakeholders. Deepen giving of donors and partners through donations and volunteerism. This would include promotion of Community Chest’s causes, platforms and sustainable giving initiatives. Key Responsibilities and Activities: 1. Manage and assign team members to perform relationship and engagement functions to enhance donors’ experience and achieve fundraising targets through all existing platforms (e.g. outright donations, SHARE and Change for Charity programmes, engagement and fund-raising activities) for respective industry segments and specific accounts. 2. Propose new fund-raising strategies and approaches, broker and drive innovative and strategic partnerships with current donors to achieve team’s philanthropic objectives. 3. Strengthen the engagement and relationship with current donors by ensuring regular and robust donor stewardship, effective communications, and strong account servicing by team members. 4. Monitor and track the monthly progress of donations and engagement by industry segments and current accounts, SHARE and Change for Charity programmes. 5. Lead implementation of assigned workgroups and signature events, manage relevant Committee(s) and project budgets, and seek sponsorships to adhere to stipulated cost-efficiency ratios. This would include liaison and cultivating positive relationships with internal NCSS and Community Chest departments / teams to achieve projects’ outcomes. 6. Plan, develop and revamp donors’ and signature events regularly to ensure efficiency and drive resonance with Community Chest’s causes. 7. Manage; measure and be accountable for the annual KPIs set for the team. 8. Manage the team’s operations, human resource and financial functions with effective solutioning. 9. Ensure compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors/suppliers/partners etc). 10. Any other duties as assigned by Directors that are aligned to NCSS and Community Chest’s purposes. Personal Competencies: 1. Sharp business acumen 2. Analytical with a flair for statistics 3. High emotional intelligence 4. Effective communication skills (Written Spoken) 5. Resourceful, proactive and agile team player who embraces transformation and innovation Skills Knowledge: 1. Fund-raising, marketing sales 2. Event management 3. Business management 4. Knowledge of the public service and social services is an added advantage 5. Basic data literacy with proficiency in preparing and analysing business spreadsheets and dashboards 6. Proficient in Microsoft Office digital marketing Experience: Minimum 5 years of management. General management track record, People-Private-Public sector experience and Social service knowledge is an added advantage
