[What the role is] •Achieving Community Chest’s philanthropy and engagement goals, including mobilsation of donations and resources for the social service sector. •Brokering and facilitating fundraising engagement partnerships with corporate accounts from the Private sector. •Deepening existing partnerships and donation support from corporate accounts. •Planning, organising and enhancing cause-based fundraising initiatives with corporate partners. •Working with various business units within NCSS to develop fundraising and engagement strategies via a data-driven approach in achieving the fund-raising commitment for President’s challenge [What you will be working on] 1.Perform relationship and engagement functions to achieve fundraising targets through all existing donation platforms 2.Work closely with President’s office to achieve fund-raising commitments 3.Strengthen the engagement and relationship with existing donors through regular and robust donor stewardship to enhance donor experience to promote continued support. 4.Plan and manage PC signature events such as Istana Open Houses and other PC related events such as media launches. 5.Cultivate and build up relationship with potential new donors by strategising the approach and implementation plan, in consultation with HOD. 6.Cultivate positive working relationships with internal stakeholders within NCSS in achieving philanthropy and engagement outcomes. 7. Secretariat duties for oversight committee 8. To manage operational budget and to have clear oversight on income and expenses. [What we are looking for] Personal Competencies: 1. Business acumen with high emotional intelligence 2. Analytical and able to make good judgement calls 3. Resourceful, agile and takes initiative 4. A team player who values inter-agency collaborations 5. Embraces ambiguity and strives for continuous progress and improvement 6. Passionate about creating an impact to the social service sector Skills Knowledge: 1. Fundraising, Business Development and Marketing 2. Event management 3. Excellent Communication Skills (Written Spoken) with high confidence in public speaking 4. Basic data literacy and able to be comfortable with analysing spreadsheets and dashboards 5. Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience in the following will be added advantage: • Partnerships and Community Engagement • Business development • Sales and marketing • Fundraising • People-Private-Public sector collaborations • Digital marketing • Knowledge of social services and experience with public service procurement practices will be an added advantage.
