Do the work that matters As a Merchant Payment Specialist, you will uncover insights for the Bank to help merchants grow and fulfil requests in relation to Merchant products. See yourself in our team You will be a brand ambassador for CommBank Merchants and will help find opportunities for CommBank to help Australian businesses grow. You’ll use insights and deep CommBank product knowledge to educate and support merchants, understanding how our ecosystem of products can fit different types of businesses. You will work with merchants of all sizes, from small to large businesses, and will report to the Team Manager. Responsibilities Connect with customers by email and phone, quickly establishing trust and building value. Prioritise your pipeline daily for maximum efficiency. Understand complex requirements and help create custom solutions. Maintain current knowledge of the CommBank product ecosystem and how this may help customers to further grow their businesses. Create a great first impression for prospective CommBank merchants by using storytelling, case studies and other materials to inspire them about how CommBank could benefit their businesses. Represent CommBank and our ‘Pay and Get Paid’ product ecosystem in the national market. Keep up-to-date with the latest business, industry and product trends. Maintain current understanding of solutions based conversations and processes. Maintain accurate sales and service data and documentation using business tools. Adhere to risk policies and schemes relevant to the role and industry. What we are looking for Previous customer service experience and exceptional customer service skills is essential Finance experience or an interest in banking is desirable Someone who thrives in a busy environment The ability to master different technologies and multitask The ability to handle customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. Having a resilient nature is essential in this role Someone with a strong risk mindset Someone who is proactive in their development and the development of their colleagues Roster Our customers are at the centre of everything we do. To be there for them every step of the way we'll need you to commit to a rotating roster which operates between the hours of: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 8.00pm AEST Initial 3 weeks classroom training in the office at South Eveleigh 6 month probation period working from the office at South Eveleigh. Options to work from home after you have completed training and probation provided all performance expectations are met Where will you go?
