[What the role is] ASSISTANT ENGINEER, ROLLING STOCK [What you will be working on] You will be involved in the manufacturing, testing and commissioning of Rolling Stock (Passenger Trains). You will assist to develop rolling stock specifications, and review design submissions from rolling stock manufacturers. You will be working on projects related to Passenger Trains and will also work on various engineering initiatives to improve reliability, operation and maintenance of the Rolling Stock. You will be working closely with cross functional teams from different disciplines within LTA, as well as with domain experts from rolling stock manufacturers. There will also be opportunities to work on innovative engineering elements of rolling stock.
