We are now recruiting a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team! The role entails: Design, execution, and documentation of testing for enterprise level tailor made (multi-tier) applications Working closely and efficiently with our team of industry leading engineers and business analysts to ensure the delivery of high quality enterprise applications Work in an IT and Technology environment delivering products (e.g. Website and Mobile Apps) or integrations using Agile and/or Waterfall software delivery methodologies Draft test plans, strategies, and epics for the discrete stages of projects’ implementation Utilize various test suites and devops environments for test execution and monitoring Support the RFP processes and contribute in the necessary technical documentation preparation The successful candidate should have: Bachelor or Master degree in IT Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Sciences or related discipline Familiarity in both Agile and Waterfall will be highly appreciated, as well as familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence or others like the Azure DevOps (Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts), GitHub, etc Some academic or early professional experience in Software Testing of Applications implemented in Java and/or .Net technologies, and/or in front-end frameworks Academic or early professional experience working with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, other) Basic Knowledge of Databases and SQL basic experience (e.g. Oracle DB, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, DB2 or MySQL, other); NoSQL familiarity is also a plus Ability to draft testing documentation (test plans, test coverage / matrix, test result reports); Ability and willingness to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English in Greek) Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building client relationships What’s in it for you At PwC is all about people, encouraging high performance and quality work.
