Real Estate Strategic Portfolio Manager – ENSC Region Are you interested in working in our Energy Transition Space? Our progress as a team and planet is intertwined. Join our Real Estate Team Manage for all phases of strategic real estate planning and transactions from commercial leases and contract negotiation to managing outsourced providers. Develop a long-term strategy to optimize Baker Hughes’ real estate portfolio, whilst aligning and supporting business success Partner with the best Responsible for the delivery of all commercial real estate transaction activities for Baker Hughes sites in the ENSC (Europe, North Sea and Caspian) region. This includes negotiating commercial real estate leases, new construction contracts, purchase and sale agreements and managing outsourced providers (including brokerage services). The strategic portfolio manager will be responsible for facility and workplace strategies whilst delivering solutions that meet operational needs and reduce cost. You will also collaborate with internal business stakeholders in developing multi-year portfolio outlook that align with the region and business segment commercial strategy. As an Real Estate Strategic Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for: Real Estate Portfolio Management: Oversee the management of our real estate assets, including acquisition, disposition, and lease negotiation to optimize the portfolio's performance. Strategic Planning: Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may impact real estate decisions, providing timely insights to the organization. Collaborate with executive leadership and business units to develop real estate strategies that support growth, cost efficiency, and operational excellence across the enterprise Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and business units, to ensure alignment and effective execution of real estate strategies Project Management: Develop Project management strategies in consultation with GRE Projects and Business teams to ensure the projects costs and timelines are factored within the wider Project strategy and delivered accordingly. Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that may impact real estate decisions, providing timely insights to the organization. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with real estate investments and transactions, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, Treasury, and legal regulations and requirements. Sustainability: Champion Baker Hughes Net Zero targets by promote sustainable real estate practices, including energy efficiency and environmental stewardship, in alignment with corporate sustainability goals. Innovation: Foster innovation in real estate management by staying updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the industry. Remote Workforce Integration: Adapt real estate strategies to accommodate changing office space requirements, including remote workforce considerations. Financial Analysis: Evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of real estate investments and present compelling business cases to executive leadership for capital expenditures. Conflict Resolution: Effectively manage and resolve disputes or conflicts with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in real estate, business, finance, or related discipline. Significant experience in real estate management, particularly in complex, multi-company, multinational settings with a strong understanding of real estate portfolio management, lease negotiation, property acquisition, and disposition. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with stakeholders, present strategies, and resolve disputes. Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex real estate projects. Proven problem-solving abilities to address complex real estate challenges and conflicts effectively. Proven leadership skills in leading and inspiring teams, foster innovation, and drive results Demonstrated ability to develop, document and execute real estate strategies that align with the broader business goals of the organization Have established project management skills Fluency in more than one language would be advantageous to your application At Baker Hughes, we are transforming the future of energy.
