Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head of Compliance AFC in; Advising to different departments on compliance related issues while considering the requirements of business line; Preparation and implementation of country compliance program; Providing timely update to the management and concerned department regarding new and upcoming laws, rules, regulations and regulatory instructions from both Compliance AFC perspective; Creating and implementing policies and procedures related to Compliance and AFC function to promote legal and regulatory requirements, while ensuring alignment with Deutsche Bank’s global policies; Monitoring the activities of first line of defense in connection with the approved compliance program; Establishing and maintaining effective relationship with the regulatory authorities; Responding to the queries received from the regulator or law enforcement agencies; Liaising with the respective team during internal/external audits, monitoring reviews or regulatory inspection; Advising to the first line of defense on matters related to Anti-Financial Crime; Providing determination of the Vendor Risk Management (VRM) Process and advice regarding New Product Approval (NPA)/ New Transaction Approval (NTA); Completing risk assessment exercises conducted by regional management related to Compliance and AFC; Developing staff awareness by providing training on topics related to Compliance and AFC; Submission of all relevant regulatory returns related to Compliance AFC function; Maintaining all necessary MIS and record related to Compliance AFC function. Compliance AFC Officer will also serve as CFT (Counter Financing of Terrorism) Desk Incharge for the purpose of State Bank of Pakistan. Core Competencies: Integrity; Critical thinking; Solution oriented; Sound knowledge of laws, rules and regulations related to Banking; Strong communication and analytical skills; and Self-driven. Qualification Experience: Masters in Finance/Banking or relevant discipline. (CAMS will be preferred) Must have at least 7-10 years of relevant experience in the Banking industry.
