Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will be an energetic mining professional looking for an amazing career progression opportunity at Aquila Mine.You will provide best practice survey services to the site, whilst ensuring statutory compliance and maintaining standard for the surveying aspects of the annual technical services plan.You will also produce timely and accurate weekly reports and plans of the mining operation, whilst providing advice on emerging or key surveying issues with a short-term focus and recommend approaches to systematically deal with them that are consistent with the Technical Services plan and strategies. Key duties and responsibilities include:Provide survey set out, pickup, reconciliation and reporting servicesConstant liaison and collaboration with technical services personnel and production crewsMonthly survey volumes/calculations for waste excavation, coal mining and rehabilitation quantitiesProvision of design compliance plans on a weekly basis or as requiredProvide as built surfaces using Maptek scanners, Leica GPS, and Drone surveys, weekly or as requiredLead supervise the surveying team onsite as the registered mine surveyorMaintain the Coal Mine Working Plan for annual submission
