Anglo American are currently recruiting multiple Deputy positions for an immediate start at Aquila Mine in Middlemount QLD.Your role as a Deputy is to be accountable for ensuring legislative compliance for all activities completed as per the site operations plan. This role sees you accountable for managing the safety, productivity, and reporting of all personnel and resources.In this role you must provide effective leadership of the operational teams in accordance with the daily plan. The Deputy must direct, control and manage mine performance within the shift/day to ensure high standards of safety, quality and productivity are achieved.Your proactive approach, proven management experience, demonstrated leadership ability to deliver exceptional results, strong interpersonal skills and commitment to Zero Harm will be the key to your success in the role. You will have extensive experience working within the underground coal mining industry with demonstrated understanding of the coal mining process and the relevant mining legislation.
