As Management Accountant - TV you will provide financial support for Nine’s Broadcast Operations team. This team is varied across the Television Operations departments and includes Broadcast Engineering, Studio Technical Operations Administration across the Sydney and Melbourne divisions.The role involves financial reporting on a monthly basis (month end journal processing, reconciliations, forecasting) and day to day management (Payroll analysis, expenses coding and approval and support of department heads).Key roles and responsibilities:Monthly review of departmental expenses and analysis of variances to budget and forecast expenditurePreparation of balance sheet reconciliationsPreparation and presentation of monthly departmental management accounts to department heads and key users of financial informationMonthly expenditure forecasts and explanation of variances to budget, including Headcount analysisPreparation of annual departmental budgets including salary costs, direct costs and internal rechargesMaintenance of the television division Contract agreements informationPreparation of year end statutory account information and assistance with meeting audit requirementsSupport of the resources departments in providing productions shows with crew equipment requirements
