The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for creating and executing appropriate sales activities to contribute to the overall sales goals for the region. The key objectives of the role include managing all sales activities in an assigned territory with a focus on a set number or larger strategic accounts and existing customers. The territories will be assigned based on industry sector and the RSM will require both sector specific knowledge as well as HireVue knowledge to be successful in the role. In addition to having strong sales and prospecting ability, the RSM will also need to be self driven, organized, professional, and disciplined while being able to operate in a fast paced environment. Experience in effectively operating in or managing large accounts, interacting with enterprise VP and C-Level contacts, as well as experience in solution based selling are critical for success in this role.To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the knowledge, skills, and abilities identified below and perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily, either with or without reasonable accommodation.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProspect, develop and close sales opportunities on a quarterly quotaDevelop and implement strategic growth initiatives for key accounts (Customers)Work closely with other teams to drive adoption and growth in your accountsMeet and exceed monthly sales activities (cold calling, qualifying key opportunities, qualifying incoming leads) and revenue targets in your market segmentGenerate a pipeline of 4-5 times your quarterly quotaCreate, manage, and review individual opportunity action plansGuide a team of internal subject matter experts throughout the sales life cycle to deliver effective virtual and onsite presentationsMeet or exceed all measurable sales objectives and quotasContinually maintain an accurate forecast and robust pipeline of sales opportunities
