Chief Accountant performs a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization’s financial resources and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. Responsibilities: Reconcile accounts, post journal entries, calculate month end accruals, calculate depreciations and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules so that the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position. Monitors the status of accounting analytical cards of suppliers, customers, both domestic and foreign, and participates in their harmonization and comparison if necessary Collect, compile, verify, and analyse financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. Prepare yearly Financial statement and Tax report Controls the Book of incoming and outgoing invoices, accounts and bookkeeping records for VAT calculation and prepares VAT returns Controls the posting of manual and automatic orders and their compliance with the company's accounting policy and legal regulations and standards Provide technical accounting advice within area of expertise to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities. Coaches accounting staff and helps to resolve problems. If necessary, performs other tasks, which are delegated to her/him in connection with the performance of work Professional Requirements: At least 5 years of position of chief of accounting, preferably in the construction sector Preferred, but it not a must Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, economics or in a relevant field Fluency in English (both written and verbal) SAP knowledge is preferred Analyzes information in a logical and systematic way. Proposes practical solutions to address identified problems. Explores a range of possible solutions. Works in a well-organised manner. Pays sufficient attention to details. Makes plans in line with established procedures and guidelines.. Checks the details of own work carefully. Analyzes information in a thorough and detailed way. Spots critical errors that others have overlooked. Identifies important details and ensures that they are correct. Maintains a focus on detail when dealing with routine work.
