Job Description: Job Title: Full Stack Java Developer Location: London Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President Technology underpins our entire business. As a Senior Engineer you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of entire engineering solutions to accomplish business goals. You will provide engineering thought leadership across teams, mentor and coach junior engineers and encourage continuous improvement in delivery practices. You can expect: Competitive salary and non-contributory pension 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family Range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits Opportunity to support a wide-ranging CSR programme + 2 days’ volunteering leave per year Your key responsibilities Front-line for new data requests from all business units Develop deep knowledge of what data the Bank already consumes\stores, and how it can be accessed Work in close partnership with stakeholders such as Fixed Income + Currencies (FIC) Trading, Strats and Technology sponsors from across the origination to understand their data requirements and manage the on-boarding through to completion Develop a commercial awareness of market data as provided by Deutsche Bank’s main vendors Understand application\end-user licensing requirements where applicable; Develop a searchable catalogue to allow self-service access to compliant Market Data; Work closely with team to provide knowledge sharing and cross training Your skills and experience Experience working with Market Data vendors such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg Knowledge of products offered by primary Market Data vendors Ability to question/challenge requirements to ensure correct solution will ultimately be provided Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Experience with financial Market Data covering FIC, Foreign Exchange, and Equities + Familiarity with real-time and historical data from vendors such as Refinitiv and Bloomberg; Experience of interrogating kdb+ database strongly desirable How we’ll support you Culture of continuous learning, coaching and support from experts in your team Enterprise engineer training programmes to recognise our leading technologists Regular global engineering events such as Hackathons or Engineering Days Accelerated promotion process for outstanding technologists Flexible working to balance your personal priorities About us and our teams Deutsche Bank is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
