Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination of the development mining activities and resources to maintain a safe and productivepanel in accordance with the annual mining plan.The role will be varied and rewarding and will involve the following:Be responsible for the management and delivery of all aspects associated with the Development operations at the mine.Build, lead and develop the development operations crews to deliver the annual plan with optimal performanceLead a systematic approach in the identification and delivery of sustainable operations sequence plans processes and methods.Drive the implementation and provide leadership of continuous improvement initiativesWork with the Maintenance and Engineering teams on improvements during overhauls of the development equipment to ensure availability and reliability is in line with the business KPI requirementsEnsure compliance with all people, safety, technical, operating and business systems, behaviours, and culture at Aquila Mine.Your proactive approach demonstrated leadership ability and commitment to Zero Harm will be key to your success in the role.
