In order to maintain our growth trajectory, it's critical that we constantly search for new avenues for market expansion while improving upon our existing business. Workday’s Corporate Strategy and Business Operations team works on high visibility projects in conjunction with business and product leaders across the organization. This team partners closely with Workday’s senior executive team to define, align on, and implement the company’s global strategy and Business Operations. The team is also responsible for delivering high profile strategic initiatives and thought leadership to support Workday’s continued growth globally. About the Role Workday’s Corporate Strategy and Business Operations team works on high visibility projects in conjunction with business and product leaders across the organization. In this role, you will lead a high functioning team that will work on key strategic and operational projects that impact a range of business functions. This leader must exhibit exceptional leadership skills, strong written and verbal communications, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership. About You The successful candidate will have prior experience leading high visibility strategic initiatives in a software settings, whether through work in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, product strategy or a business operations role at a technology company. Possess strong problem structuring skills and analytical competence, and be a clear communicator in delivering recommendations to senior executives. The ideal applicant will also have experience working cross functionally with product and technology leaders as well as business development, MA, and go-to-market executives. Experience working with SaaS applications, HRM, Financials, Planning, and enabling cloud computing services are major advantages. Basic Qualifications 10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience with a background in strategy consulting, business operations or corporate strategy Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred. Partner with executives and other senior leaders to prioritize, scope and align key functional initiatives using data and analytical methods Contribute to Workday’s 5 year vision and strategy as a thought leader, analyst and story-teller Be a vocal and compelling advocate for Workday’s strategy, mission and culture Other Qualifications Strong leadership skills and executive presence Proven ability to grow, manage, and train high output teams Track record of successful delivery of company-critical projects and proven business impact Self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach; comfort with ambiguity and drive to take on new challenges and responsibilities Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; strong interest in structuring complex problems and presenting well-supported solutions Experience with SaaS and enterprise software products or services Experience in technical or quantitative field preferred Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
