The Leadership You Will Bring Steer the trajectory of impactful change as a Team Leader, where you would be responsible for the operational leadership of family violence accommodation. As well as, associated programs/services to support the journey to recovery for victim survivors experiencing or escaping family violence located at Catherine Booth House in Darwin. Your Key Responsibilities Family Violence service management including oversight over a range of internal practices, policies and guidelines, including case management Provide high level professional leadership to the workforce and observe best practice management standards as required of The Salvation Army at all levels in service provision Programmatic management including oversight of quality and compliance to ensure accreditation standards are met Deliver an effective high-quality family violence service with ability to demonstrate that interventions make a difference to the lives of women and children post family violence This is a permanent full-time position, located in Darwin, NT. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 6 Award. The Ideal Candidate Would Have Degree qualification in Social Work or similar qualifications is essential and demonstrated relevant work experience Experience in the family violence sector and managing or coordinating residential care settings Experience in managing and overseeing case management and outreach support services Experience working with financial operating budgets and managing staff Well-developed liaison and communication skills, including the ability to consult and negotiate with relevant agencies in the service sector and the public Demonstrated experience in effectively dealing with the impact of trauma Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft suit, and utilising Outlook, Excel, Word, and specialised client management record systems Experience in identifying, developing, and working in partnership with others Benefits Working with The Salvation Army NFP salary packaging ($15,900 tax free) plus meals and entertainment benefits Employee Assistance Program - Independent confidential counselling service Financial, retail and lifestyle discounts and benefits Discounted health and fitness programs through Fitness Passport Up to 8 weeks leave per year through our purchase leave scheme Generous Parental Leave offering of 12 weeks Up to 5 days paid leave per year to support a TSA program or activity An inclusive culture of dedicated, passionate, and professional team members Positively supporting and impacting the lives of others through your career contribution The Salvation Army is an Equal Opportunity Employer who provides an inclusive work environment and embraces the diverse talent of its people.
