[What the role is] The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) is Singapore’s central bank and integrated financial regulator. [What you will be working on] We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to work on a system transition project. You will play a critical role in assisting with the decommissioning of our legacy system called the Corporate e-Lodgment (“CeL”). CEL is an eServices platform that enables online submission of licence applications and registrations from applicants who seek to operate fund management companies (“FMCs”), and subsequent lodgments by Registered FMCs to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (“MAS”). Responsibilities include: Collaborate with the project team to understand the functionalities and dependencies of the legacy system, CEL. Assist in the management, coordination and direction of overall processes surrounding the decommissioning and transition of legacy system(s). Work closely with stakeholders to identify and document the requirements and objectives for the alternative systems. Maintaining regular touchpoints with stakeholders, documentation of logs and management records Support the development of a transition plan outlining the migration strategy from CEL to the alternative systems. Assist in the testing and validation of alternative systems to ensure compatibility and data integrity. Research, experimentation, and communicating of change to users Take stock of progress and demonstrate the ability to respond to any new or overlooked requirements Provide training and support to end-users on the usage of the alternative systems. Create and maintain documentation, including user manuals and standard operating procedures, for the alternative systems [What we are looking for] Degree/Diploma in Business, Information Technology or Computer Science. Relevant experience with systems migration is preferred Good problem solver and team player. Good communication skills and ability to articulate information (both verbal and written).
