We are looking for individuals to join our team as Revenue Cycle Specialist II. In this role, you will provide commercial collections support to our Patient Financial Services department. Your responsibilities may include reviewing and resubmitting claims to insurance companies, following up on accounts, and updating account information. You will also be expected to have a strong understanding of our revenue cycle and be able to interpret and explain payor contracts.

What you can expect in this role:
- Participate in department meetings and provide feedback for process improvement
- Adhere to documentation standards and accurately enter data
- Monitor work queues and resolve accounts in a timely manner
- Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, accountability, and ethical behavior
- Process incoming correspondence and ensure account information is complete and accurate
- Have a detailed knowledge of our patient accounting systems and use them effectively and efficiently

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years' experience in hospital or professional billing and/or collections
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English effectively

Experience we are seeking:
- Preferred experience in professional revenue cycle
- Basic computer and navigation skills, MS Office, Web/Vs, Emdeon, and CS-Link preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory and Cedars-Sinai policies and procedures preferred
- Basic understanding of HIPAA and other privacy guidelines preferred
- Proficiency in performing business math calculations
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Keyboard and data entry proficiency
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
