Corporate Bank Technology – Request to Pay The Commercial Banking Technology group provides the Corporate Bank with a team that capitalizes on the rapidly evolving technology industry to serve our clients with new products and meet their growing needs within an Agile FinTech-like setup. Our innovative Request-to-Pay platform helps customers of our corporate clients to pay for goods and services they are buying over internet. The platform is pluggable into merchant's websites and implements user journey to facilitate a payment, which requires UI to be able to run in different browsers on different devices. As a UI Engineer (m/f/x) you will be helping to drive Deutsche Bank’s strategy for technological excellence in expanding the firm’s offering and leveraging varying FinTech partnerships and solutions. - You love this job but feel you cannot tick 100% of the boxes? Your key responsibilities Drive UI development of our in-house Request-to-Pay platform Use your UI Engineer experience for designing and developing highly available architecture Assist in adoption of modern engineering practices, design principles and Agile methodologies across the Commercial Banking Technology team Engage with stakeholders to define and implement requirements to agreed timelines Partner with backend and QA Engineers to ensure quality solutions are delivered Your skills and experiences Passion for UI web application development and strong algorithmic skills Working experience with core UI technologies - React, Redux, JavaScript and TypeScript Experience in distributed, highly available and fault tolerant applications is a big plus Practical experience with modern SDLC tools (e.g., git, Maven / Gradle, TeamCity / Jenkins) Basic knowledge and experience with Java, Kotlin, SQL, Linux and cloud-based systems is a big plus What we offer Competitive salary and benefits, including 30 days of holiday Hybrid model of remote work and office days Working at the forefront of financial services technology at scale!
