[What the role is] The job of an academic is challenging and meaningful. Not only will he/she have both the knowledge and working experience, he/she must also possess a passion for working with youths, nurturing them and moulding their characters. Infocomm Security Management The appointee must be competent to teach in at least four of the following subjects: • Secure Coding • Applied Cryptography • IOT and Cloud Security • Blockchain/ Hashgraph Security • Malware Reverse Engineering • Ethical Hacking and Defences • Operational Technology Security [What you will be working on] Responsibilities:- Conduct lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning of students (youths and adult learners) Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum. This includes regular review of existing curriculum and make recommendations on areas of improvements that would enhance students’ learning, performance and employability. Keep current and abreast of trends and developments of Infocomm Security Management Support the School’ strategic initiatives through involvement in committee work and projects such as process improvement projects, development and management of new courses [What we are looking for] Requirements:- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in either web and application programming, application security/penetration testing, risk vulnerability assessment, threat management and defence, security operations and incident response with practical hands-on experience or computer/mobile forensics and investigation. Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners. Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team. Good knowledge of both Linux and Windows based environments. Familiar with the various IT security standards and frameworks, IT best practices, IT security compliance and audit standards. Proficient in at least one of the programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java, C, C++, PHP). Information and cyber security membership (e.g. AiSP). Relevant qualification in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies. Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, OSCP, OSWP, QISP or in the relevant domain will have an added advantage. Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
