[What you will be working on] The appointee must be competent to teach skills/modules in the Common Core Curriculum and Poly-wide Electives of the School that include: Sustainable Innovation Project Digital Communication and Collaboration Personal Branding Persuasive Communication (written and oral) Data Storytelling Critical Thinking Effective Interpersonal Communication Emotional and Cultural Intelligence ASEAN and Regional Issues Responsibilities:- Conduct both lessons, create teaching and assessment materials, and facilitate learning for both Pre-Employment Training (PET) and Continuing Education Training (CET) students (youths and adult learners) Develop and maintain new/existing teaching curriculum and ensure industry relevancy Craft and run unique institutional programmes and initiatives Be part of the SP Outstanding Talent team to help craft and run unique institutional programmes and initiatives Assist in SP’s high-potential student development and internationalisation efforts [What we are looking for] Passionate about education and possess strong interest in teaching and mentoring both youths and adult learners Self-driven, independent and possess readiness to work as a team Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment People-oriented individual with strong interpersonal, written and communication skills Relevant qualification in the field of English Language/Applied Linguistics/Mass Communication/Communication Studies/Arts and Social Sciences. Knowledge of ACI issues would be an added advantage Candidates who possess experience in teaching and developing student leaders at secondary/tertiary level is preferred Proficient in the use of social media and digital tools for teaching would be desirable Willingness to travel for short term overseas programmes Experience in managing and running events/conferences will have an added advantage Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
