Job Description IT Support Engineer Location: On-site Istanbul, Turkey Specific job responsibilities: Under direction, performs standard technology engineering activities that develop professional skills/knowledge and provide familiarization with technology engineering staff, methods, practices, and projects. Provides preventative maintenance on assigned technologies, following established procedures. Provides incoming call support for all related incidents and escalations. Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional IT support at our designated site. As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and efficiency of the IT infrastructure and assisting end-users with their technical needs. Key Responsibilities: Technical Support: Provide on-site technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and effectively. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, peripherals, software applications, and Zoom Rooms. User Assistance: Offer assistance and guidance to end-users in utilizing IT systems, Zoom Rooms, and other tools, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency. Train and educate end-users on IT-related topics, promoting self-service and a better understanding of technology usage. Hardware and Software Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on hardware and software to ensure optimum performance and security. Maintain an inventory of all IT assets and equipment, monitoring their condition and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed. Network Management: Assist in maintaining the local network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and troubleshoot network-related issues. Collaborate with network administrators to optimize network performance and security. Zoom Rooms and Meeting Support: Manage and support Zoom Rooms, ensuring a seamless meeting experience for all users. Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting during virtual and in-person meetings. Ordering and Inventory: Handle the procurement and ordering of IT-related supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels for the site. Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, place orders, and track deliveries. End User Experience Enhancement: Continuously work on improving the end-user experience by implementing user-friendly solutions and gathering feedback for enhancements. New Hire Training: Conduct training sessions for new hires, acquainting them with the company's IT policies, procedures, and tools. Qualifications: Computer Science, or related field. Prior experience in IT support, preferably in an on-site support role. Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, macOS, Zoom Rooms, Modern Workplace, and common office software applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills.
