Drill and Blast Solutions Manager Division: Weir ESCO Location: Hybrid Purpose of Role: The Drill and Blast Solutions Manager is responsible for helping Motion Metrics’ customers improve their productivity through drill and blast optimizations. This will help to expand the service capabilities of Motion Metrics to include drill and blast consulting and increase the Ecosystem value proposition. Key Responsibilities: (What are the top 4 focus areas of the job, Safety First is required) • Review data collected by Motion Metrics systems and third-party sources to identify productivity bottlenecks. • Prepare reports and presentations to summarize findings and propose recommendations. • Present findings to stakeholders and customers. • Conduct case studies with customers to test recommendations and qualify results. • Work with Commercial Managers to develop Ecosystem blocks around drill and blast optimization. • Work with Customer Success Manager to develop case studies with partner sites. • Work with Regional Sales Managers to identify customer pain points and quantify potential ROI. · Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications: · Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above. • Degree in Mining Engineering with minimum five years of experience as a Mining Engineer in drill and blast optimization. • Be fluent in English and possess excellent spoken and written skills. • Ability to create presentations and reports and present them to a professional audience. • Professional with a positive attitude and used to working under pressure to meet expected deadlines. • Ability to problem solve and propose solutions to issues that might arise. • Possess excellent time management skills and be results-driven. • Availability and willingness to travel frequently, including extended stays in mining locations.
