[What the role is] The Geospatial Manager is part of the Geospatial Services team driving geospatial capability building in Singapore. The team provides geospatial analytics, solutioning, data fusion/conversion and training services with the objective to deepen geospatial capabilities in Singapore and in the Government. [What you will be working on] The Geospatial Manager is part of the Geospatial Services team driving geospatial capability building in Singapore. The team provides geospatial analytics, solutioning, data fusion/conversion and training services with the objective to deepen geospatial capabilities in Singapore and in the Government. The Geospatial Manager will liaise and engage with organisations from the Healthcare, Social, Education sectors and Government Agencies to promote the mainstreaming of geospatial solutions and technologies in Singapore. The Geospatial Consultant works with the team to develop programmes, conduct training workshops, and execute geospatial analytics projects. The Geospatial Manager will need to effectively engage with persons unfamiliar with Geospatial data and technology to communicate the value-add and potential that Geospatial has in providing value to their various organisations and workflows. [What we are looking for] Good understanding of geospatial (e.g. Understanding of Geospatial concepts, technology, applications, geospatial analytics techniques and methods) Competent in the application of Python and Java Script. R programming languages is a bonus. Experience in the use of geospatial software such as ESRI (ArcGIS Pro, Online, tools, etc) or QGIS is required. Experience in Project management and consultation required. Experience in training or conducting workshops is required. Good written communication skills, to curate presentation decks to effectively illustrate key messages and business cases. Good verbal communication skills, to be able to present Geospatial concepts and technicalities to stakeholders. These stakeholders may be non-technical with no Geospatial background. Good interpersonal skills, to manage collaborative relationships with various teams and work towards delivery of cross functional projects.
