Responsibilities Manage and develop a team to ensure the implementation of HSSE Strategies to improve HSSE management and achieve HSSE objectives and targets. Supervise and continually search for improvements for to protect people from injury, the environment from damage, the business from unnecessary losses. Ensure a proactive loss prevention program including risk management (identification, assessment, and control), inspections, audits, and emergency planning. Monitor compliance with HSSE related laws and legislation and keep up to date with any changes, inform management on the impact of these changes and responsibilities and advice the site management by providing proposals. Ensure that HSSE trainings are delivered according to local legislation and continuously improve the HSSE trainings integrating new training methods and techniques. Ensure accurately and timely reporting of HSSE performance indicators to operation management. Perform analysis, monitor trends and identify opportunities for improvement. Ensure the integration of HSSE requirements in projects by providing coaching and counseling to eliminate/reduce risks and comply with legal requirements. Lead programs to reduce waste and emissions and conserve energy and natural resources, in order to achieve environmental KPI. Contribute and participate in the development of emergency preparedness to eliminate or minimize losses due to incident and to provide support to business in the post-incident investigation and root cause analysis. Lead the HSSE projects on the identification of the needs, weaknesses and/or emerging issues and implement solution. Education Skills University degree in Engineering/Chemical. Specific University course in Environmental, Health Safety disciplines. Qualification as per local legal requirements. International certifications (e.g., NEBOSH) are a plus. minimum 3 years’ experience in related area Fluent both in English and Japanese. PC literal (Word, Excel, Ppt). ISO 45001 and 14001 knowledge.
