Position Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Data, AI, and Edge Platform segment of the Data, AI, and Edge Platform and Analytics Business Unit within the Software Controls Division at Rockwell Automation. As the Head of Product Management for the Platform, you will manage and grow a portfolio of existing products as well as identify gaps in the Platform to support the delivery of internal and external analytics apps from edge to cloud. You will work across Business Units and divisions to enable edge to cloud analytics applications as well as evangelize the Platform to customers and partners to enable them to deliver custom analytics applications or extend Rockwell applications. Delivering differentiated industrial analytics across edge to cloud based on enabling access and integration of Operational, Engineering, and IT data is a central focus of Rockwell’s vision and growth strategy. You will lead a team of senior level product managers to execute on this vision. The position will report to the Chief Product Officer and VP of Data, AI, Edge Platform, and Analytics. In this position, you will also work with and drive alignment across stakeholders, other business units’ product leaders to enable the delivery of industrial applications and analytics embedded within edge and SaaS, product marketing, market access, and go to market functions and will play a key role in OEM, MA, and partnerships opportunities as well as channel strategies to accelerate our growth. Main Responsibilities: Define the strategy and roadmap for the Data, AI, Edge Platform offerings. Identify opportunities, Drive growth and adoption of products. Develop and manage a winning strategy for Data, AI, Edge platform services to enable the development of internal and external analytics apps based on OT data. Lead and grow the product team, driving strong team performance and establishes a positive can-do team philosophy with high performance aspirations. Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders in our leading customers and establish a reputation for Industry thought leadership. Place a very significant emphasis on innovation and delightful user experience, which is key to differentiation. Collaborate with other Product teams, Engineering, consulting services, sales, and market access teams to provide a modular platform as a service that supports the delivery of impactful analytics applications across the business units. Maintain a strong pulse of the market, customer, and technology trends, strong working relationship across sales, technical sales, market access, partnership, marketing, services, and customer success teams. Strong understanding of the competition and incorporating competitive analysis in strategy and execution. Evangelize the Platform portfolio with the field and customers. You will be expected to take initiative and bring the right people together to brainstorm solutions, drive consensus and ensure successful outcomes. Maintain a strong customer focused balance between strategy, technology, business acumen, and real-world execution. Basic Qualifications: B.S. in Computer Science/Chemical/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline, or equivalent experience Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening Preferred Qualifications: MBA/Advanced degree (or global equivalent) in a related field preferred. Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated experience in product management / product or commercial marketing / professional services or solution consulting role in an enterprise software company. 5+ years experience of having successfully run a team. Experience in the industrial data management and IIOT markets. Experience of cloud-based (SaaS, PaaS) as well as on-prem product management. Experience in Analytics, AI technologies is preferred. Proven track record of successfully bringing new products to market and enabling direct and indirect sales channels. Strong individual initiative and ownership, driven to achieve results, and motivated by impact. Extremely well organized, detail-oriented, metrics driven, and possessing a high level of integrity. Proven ability to define and articulate a strategy, influence others, build support from stakeholders, present to executives, and drive execution of the strategy. Ability to evaluate potential strategies, MA, and partnerships to forecast revenue, profitability, and market share growth is key. Demonstrated business acumen and competitive and industry insights to assess the tradeoffs across technology, process, people, cost, time to market. Strong sense of teamwork and collaboration, while driving towards agility and accelerated delivery timelines. Position can be located anywhere in the USA. The base salary compensation range for this role is $155,280- $194,100 USD Annual with an annual target bonus of 10% of base salary.
