Main Responsibilities:

Ensure vehicles are properly maintained and safe for our customers.
Utilize Penske's tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire replacements, rotations, lubrication, vehicle component replacements, electrical system repairs, and cooling system maintenance.
Learn new skills through Penske's technician training and hands-on coaching.
Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

General Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair desired.
Basic mechanical aptitude and preferably 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to problem solve and use tools comfortably.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
Basic computer skills.
Adherence to specific instructions, guidelines, and safety protocols established by Penske management.
Ability to perform work adhering to DOT, OSHA, and all Penske safety and maintenance policies.
Regular attendance is essential.


This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company.

Physical Requirements:

Moderate physical activity is expected, including frequent movement, standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
Routine use of hands for grasping, reaching, touching, handling, feeling, and operating tools or controls.
Working at heights and in all weather conditions.
Clear vision and hearing to safely navigate the work environment.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg regularly and occasionally up to 100lbs/45kg.
