Job Description Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience Required 8-10 years Proven experience as a Sr Software Engineer or in an equivalent position. Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods. Demonstrated experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment. Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles. Outstanding leadership, planning and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Design, develop and deploy secure, scalable, robust and quality solutions for the IOT team. Build highly performant, scalable and secure API's using best design practices. Work on full stack from DB to UI, including .Net technologies, React, NodeJS, SQL and NoSQL DB, Kafka, Timeseries DB, Docker, Kubernetes Actively contribute to the adoption of strong architecture, development best practices, and new technologies, build tools that will help automate/simplify existing processes Experience in developing cloud software services with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability. Hands-on experience with Web Services, RESTful services, API design are must. Understanding of both frontend and backend technologies (API design, message driven applications, micro-services, relational and non-relational databases, big data, scalability, security, etc) Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices and have sound knowledge of Sonarqube Experience working with Containerization and Cluster technologies like Docker/Kubernetes Experience with the Azure CI/CD pipeline Experience with distributed storage and data systems ( e.g. Memcached, Kafka, Redis ) Experience working in Agile environment Database design/data modeling experience and performance tuning of prod systems Solid understanding of web development including HTML, CSS, Java Script. React/Redux experience will be a plus Collaborate with cross-functional team members during different phases of SDLC cycle. Ability to take full ownership of projects and drive them to completion Highly motivated with an eagerness to learn and grow both personally and professionally Team player with strong analytical skills to solve complex business problems by writing simple, effective code A sense of humor!
