Effectively plans and implements work to ensure that the assigned tasks are successfully completed. Provides support to Head of Development organization and to the Development Manager of Gate Automation Product as required. Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of SDLC: from system analysis and architecture thru development and test to deployment and support. Supervise team of 2-6 developers. Architect the software system by writing a Design Specification detailing the overall architecture, description of framework, interfaces, services, and business components, interaction between the components. Develop and unit test the framework and business components of a system and ensure seamless integration with other sub systems. Be able to troubleshoot any complex issues during the project and provide solutions to solve them. Keep abreast of the current technologies and technological trends. Ability to learn and prototype new technologies and recommend their use in the company products. Act as technical lead managing a team of developers to ensure that the project is successfully completed. Provide support to production; diagnose and quickly resolve the issues. Work with other teams and customers. Work on design, develop and deploy the product. Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of experience in software development. 3+ years in Sr. Software Engineering or Lead role. Must have a track record of designing and developing high quality, high volume distributed and scalable business applications. Thorough understanding of OOA/OOD. Specialized in design and development of middle-tier component of architecture. Expert in C# and .NET Framework, .NET Core. MVC, Entity Framework. Expert in multi-threading development. Good knowledge XML technologies including schemas, SOAP, XSLT, etc. Excellent working knowledge of queuing, WS, TCP/IP, and other communication protocols. Knowledge of Enterprise integration architecture and patterns. ActiveMQ, REST, MQ/MSMQ, Microservices, Event/Messages/Flow Orchestration. Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g., Scrum). Experience with Jira and GitHub. Experience with Kafka and event pub/sub is a plus. Experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus. Familiarity with different hardware: audio and video switchers, printers, cameras, barcode readers, RFID, gate arms, and other is a plus. Good knowledge of RDBMS databases (SQL Server and/or Oracle), Data modeling, strong in SQL. Knowledge of non-relational DB is a plus. Must have excellent writing skills and be able to communicate technical designs in writing and drawings. Be a strong team leader and player. Experience in providing support to production and diagnosing production issues is a plus. Must have proven experience working with onsite and remote software development teams and coordinate projects as a single team. Ability to manage tasks and exercise independent judgment without supervision. Ability to effectively communicate with all staff and management levels. Must be a person of high integrity and commitment and possess a strong work ethic. A.P.
