The National Institute of Education invites suitable applications for the position of Research Fellow on up to 24 months contract (renewable) at the Centre for Research in Child Development (CRCD), Office of Education Research (OER). Project Title: CRCD Research Successful applicants can expect to be involved in the planning, design, literature review, meta-analysis and data collection. Requirements • PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g. Psychology, child development, early childhood, early childhood education, early childhood curriculum) • At least 7 years of relevant experience in research and education • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a research project • Demonstrated ability to propose, design and implement appropriate research methodologies and instruments • Ability to write reports, publications and presentation materials • Ability to present research findings through various platforms • Strong interpersonal communication skills • Able to work independently with minimal supervision • Able to work cooperatively in teams • Have knowledge of qualitative and quantitative software programmes Responsibilities • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement the centre’s research programme; • Assist in the development of research projects and programmes in seeking and pursuing appropriate external funding; • Disseminate the outcomes of research in peer-reviewed publications of international standing; • Other administrative duties as assigned by the Principal Investigator (PI) Application Applicants (external and internal) will apply via Workday.
