The position oversees the maintenance and operational readiness of vessels and facilities in accordance with USCG (United States Coast Guard) regulations, as well as ensuring workplace safety and efficiency.Additionally, ensures that all facilities and equipment are maintained and operated to guarantee a safe and efficient workplace.Execute a range of maintenance tasks outlined in the preventative maintenance plan, from basic to advanced levels, ensuring the continued operational efficiency and safety of equipment and facilities.Document all maintenance activities accurately and comprehensively, including work performed, parts used, and any observations or recommendations for future improvements.Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines, always promoting a culture of workplace safety and compliance.Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance technical skills and stay abreast of industry best practices and advancements.Maintains effective working relations with various external external entities.Assists in training development, cost projections, and preventative maintenance.Prepares/reviews engineering reports/logs, surveys, service orders, contractor request, capital expenditures, andparts/ material requests.
