Job Description: Job Title Principal Architect Location London Corporate Title Director You will be joining the Group Architecture team as an Architect working on the Architecture Blueprints. You will play a crucial role in aligning the business and technology strategies and ensure the optimal architecture design across functions. The team works with architects across the bank to align technology solutions with business goals. Work includes: analyzing an organization's needs, evaluating existing systems, and designing comprehensive solutions that meet functional and technical specifications using a deep understanding of one or more various technology domains, such as infrastructure architecture, application development, data platforms, cloud computing, security with the appropriate business domain knowledge. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and developers, to gather requirements and translate them into architectural designs; considering factors like scalability, performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectiveness when creating blueprints for IT systems. Our team define architecture principles to guide solution design, develop the target technology estate to support the organization’s business strategies, develop roadmaps to enable transition to the target estate, govern the transition and provide guidance and support throughout the implementation process, ensuring that solutions are built according to architecture principles and align to the roadmaps and organization’s target architecture.
