[What the role is] You will be part of a team working on project management of large scale commercial and integrated development works. [What you will be working on] To be involved in different stages of the project from feasibility studies, concept, schematic to design development and contract administration Ability to derive the ME building works on the budgetary projections, time lines, resource studies, and strategies to meet pertinent building/construction rules and regulations Ability to identify, develop, and analyze engineering designs and/or specifications; plan and modify methods and resources. Review design and project manage the different mechanical and electrical engineering systems (HVAC, Elect, Lifts, Fire Protection, chillers, Plumbing and Sanitary etc) for building projects in a wide range of sectors such as office, commercial, institutional, healthcare facilities, etc Co-ordinate with multidisciplinary consultants to develop all the drawings and technical specifications pertinent to ME aspects of a building Approves engineering designs and/or project specifications of other engineers to meet desired compliance with engineering principles, standards, statutes, codes, regulations and design. Monitor and ensure program/project meets specification and design. Able to work with various stakeholder on the users’ requirements Able to contribute and work independently as well as in a team to advance design development, on-site management and contract administration [What we are looking for] Background in Electrical Engineering Preferably 5 to 10 years of related ME experience Conversant with local codes and regulation Experience in new development of integrated complex or commercial building would be an advantage Must have completed on full project cycle in Singapore Familiar with Public Sector Contracts The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
