The In-Service Electrical Department supports the Reactor Control and Instrumentation, Power Systems and Plant Sensors equipment across the UK. Electrical Design Engineers from a broad range of equipment support backgrounds would be considered and specific product-based training will be provided. You will be involved in delivering sensor design, modification work and providing in service support. The Design Engineer will be working closely with the supply chain, assessing component changes and design definition updates. What you will be doing: You will be producing technical reports/operating manuals etc. supporting the delivered equipment. Delivering work packages to agreed time and costs. Responding to and rectifying in-service sensors equipment defects/requests for technical information involving some occasional on site work Evaluating the safety and integrity of the sensors products Produce safety case design documentation to support the safe operation of the plant.
