JOB SUMMARY As an IT Cloud Expert specializing in Azure Cloud Architecture and Virtual Desktop, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and managing Virtual Desktop and Apps cloud-based solutions that meet the business needs of our organization. Your expertise in Azure services, specifically Azure virtual desktop and VDI, will play a crucial role in shaping our cloud infrastructure and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. In addition, your knowledge of Virtualization technology will be leveraged to optimize the virtual desktop experience for end-users. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of Azure cloud infrastructure, for desktop and app virtualization through Agile methodology and leveraging the best practices for scalability, availability, security, and performance. Design, develop and deploy Azure virtual desktop environments, including provisioning and management of virtual machines, storage, and networking components Configure and optimize VDI solutions, ensuring efficient and secure delivery of virtual desktops and application to end-users Providing technical guidance and support to the team members Collaborate with operations support, system administrators, network engineers, and security professionals to ensure the integration and compatibility of cloud solutions with existing IT infrastructure Monitor and troubleshoot Azure cloud infrastructure and virtual desktop environments to ensure high availability and performance. Identifying mitigating the risks associated with the infrastructure solution. Implement security measures and compliance standards to protect cloud resources and data Stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud technologies, particularly in the Azure ecosystem, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered Strong expertise in Azure cloud services, with a focus on Azure virtual desktop and VDI solutions Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) models Proficiency in configuring and managing virtual desktop environments leveraging technologies such as Citrix or other similar technology In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, including VPN, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and virtual desktop issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Relevant certifications such as Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) and Virtual desktop certifications (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktpo Specialtiy, Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization,..) are highly desirable Minimum of 4 years experience on Azure cloud technology Pursue Progress.
