What you will be doing With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to: lead and serve as the primary point of contact for the development of certified inverter units, ensuring airworthiness standards are met, oversee and contribute to the inverter design process, including verification and integration, to ensure high-quality outcomes, collaborate closely with teams specializing in power electronics, control logic, and motor design, as well as with overarching propulsion system authorities, to ensure seamless systems integration, support the series development and standardization processes from a design perspective, guiding projects towards excellence, play a key role in establishing and refining the necessary structures and processes for achieving certification, inspiring and guiding the team towards innovation and compliance. To be successful in this role you will need to: have successfully completed your academic degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, have several years of experience in inverter development within the aerospace sector, be experienced in airworthiness processes and standards (ARP4754, DO-178C, DO-254) and proficient in requirement and configuration management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion), bring a deep understanding of the Multiphysics involved in electrical drives design, including but not limited to HV and LV devices and interfaces, mechanical integration, thermal management, electromagnetic compatibility, noise and vibration, control methods, bus communications, etc., have a good understanding of product development within the aerospace sector, type certification, design organization, and airworthiness in general, stand out for your technical leadership skills, be a goal-oriented, structured, independent, and enduring worker who is used to demonstrating attitude, high initiative, creativity, and dependability, be proficient in English.
