You will be responsible for building pipelines to ingest data into our platform, making data available to downstream systems, improving our CI/CD practices, test automation, as well as contributing to our cloud architecture and shift towards infrastructure as code.We are looking for an engineer to join our rapidly growing team, with a focus on architecture, automation and architecture. If you come from a background in backendsoftware engineering, DevOps, Cloud or platform engineering looking for a change, we would love to hear from you.We work with the latest cloud technologies and are responsible for a petabyte scale data warehouse. Our tech stack includes BigQuery, Apache Airflow, Beam and Kafka, and a number of managed services on Google Cloud.You will work with content, audience and marketing data. Our team works closely with internal stakeholders across Nine to build integrations, data models, dashboards to democratise data and make data actionable and widely understandable. We work with commercial teams to provide external market-facing audience metrics and insights. We also provide transformed data feeds to audience facing platforms.Day to day you can expect toBuild and manage significant data infrastructure in the cloud.Work across data engineering teams to contribute to the continuous improvement of practices, architecture and tooling.Collaborate with product, engineering and business stakeholders to craft creative data products and solutions.Provide data on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new toolsets - we aren't afraid to experiment!
